Description
An event for cyclemotors, autocycles, mopeds, veterans and other 'self-certified' low powered machines, mainly along country lanes. A route sheet will be provided at the start. Proceed at your own pace. Parking for trailers etc is available at the start point. We hope to have a back-up vehicle available on the day. Lunch will be at The Fox, Ousden, where Sunday lunches plus a wider menu will be available. The museum cafe and WC's will be open prior to the run and on our return. If 50 miles is an adventure this is an event for you. (In the event of adverse weather being expected, the event may be cancelled by email at short notice. John Oliver "Elver Run"

Description
The John Oliver Elver Run is named for our late and much missed friend and former Chairman, John Oliver. Gather from 9.30 at the start point, from which we will depart at 10.00am sharp. There will be an agreed route and a run leader, with stops at suitable intervals. You will be expected to sign on and indicate that you are aware of identified risks and mitigations relating to the run and the route. The Section will provide a stop with free tea and cake for participants but any other costs arising will be normally be borne by individual riders.
