HELDUN

England 1965 - 1968

Birmingham - The company was set up by Helen and Duncan Buchanan (last name not sure) hence the name HelDun. There was a 1968 model Husky that competed in the 1968 SSDT, Finishing in the 160's area. Two road examples appeared at the 1968/9? TT in the 50cc class. Clearly a legendary manufacturer. There is a 50cc four cylinder DOHC 12 speed engine in the Sammy Miller Museum, co-developed by Mr Buchanan, an avid supporter of the then supreme class of 50cc racing.
